Over the past 15-20 years compounding has experienced growth due to advances in research, technology, and quality control/safety. The Food and Drug Administration has stated that compounded prescriptions are both ethical and legal as long as they are prescribed by a licensed practitioner for a specific patient and compounded by a licensed pharmacy. In addition, compounding is regulated by state boards of pharmacy. Eastern States Compounding Pharmacy is New Hampshire’s only nationally accredited (PCAB) compounding pharmacy and routinely opens its doors to independent inspection from industry surveyors.

Eastern States Compounding Pharmacy specializes in compounding. We have equipment and expertise from special training courses necessary to create these prescriptions. Very few pharmacies have these tools or have trained their staff to make these compounds and counsel patients on the use of these customized medications. Additionally, we are the only compounding pharmacy in Northern New England to be fully accredited by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB).
Your prescription is custom-made specifically for you. Therefore, we ask for 2 to 3 business days to custom compound your prescription.
